National Forum on Mediation and Conciliation (FONAMEC)

Attorney Victor Dantas, of Rossini & Bastos Advogados, took part in the meeting of the National Forum on Mediation and Conciliation (FONAMEC), held at the Court of Justice of the State of Minas Gerais (TJMG), in Belo Horizonte, to present the results of the empirical research entitled “Present and Future of Judicial Mediation and Conciliation in Brazil: Diagnosis of Practices, Assessment of the Judicial Policy under CNJ Resolution No. 125/2010, and an Agenda of Challenges,” developed by a team of researchers from FGV Direito SP.

The study provides the Judiciary with a nationwide diagnosis of the judicial policy for the proper treatment of disputes, analyzing the implementation of CNJ Resolution No. 125/2010, evaluating practices adopted by the courts, and proposing an agenda for institutional improvement of mediation and conciliation in Brazil.

This participation reaffirms the firm’s institutional commitment to applied scientific production, technical dialogue with the Judiciary, and qualified contributions to the development of public justice policies.

🧭 Victor Dantas is a PhD candidate in Law at the University of São Paulo (USP – FDRP), holds a Master of Laws from USP, and a Bachelor of Laws from FDRP/USP.
